RF / Wireless Systems

KF4/6, L-Series, RX3/6/10, Auger Mover

My key fob will not pair with the receiver.

Ensure the receiver is in Learn Mode and that the key fob is actively transmitting during the pairing process.

My key fob will not transmit.

Check the key fob batteries and confirm battery voltage is between 2.2 V and 3.2 V.

The receiver will not enter Learn Mode.

Verify the magnet being used is strong enough and is applied in the correct location to activate the sensor.

A button on my key fob does not work.

Inspect the key fob for contamination or corrosion. Ensure the metallic dome makes clean contact with the circuit board.

I must frequently re-learn my key fob to the receiver.

Contact Rowe Electronics or your authorized dealer for troubleshooting assistance.

The receiver does not function.

Verify that power to the receiver is present and uninterrupted. Check for blown fuses or loose wiring connections.

The receiver works temporarily and then stops.

When driving solenoids or other inductive loads, proper external protection is required. Contact Rowe Electronics or your dealer for guidance.

Where can I purchase replacement key fobs?

Replacement key fobs are available through Rowe Electronics or your authorized dealer.

The receiver status LED behavior differs from the instructions.

Some units may use custom dealer programming. Contact your dealer for support.

My key fob only works when very close to the receiver.

Ensure the battery is fully charged and confirm the receiver is not obstructed by signal-degrading materials.

The auger only operates in one direction using the key fob.

If the auger operates normally using physical switches, contact Rowe Electronics or your dealer for service.

Power Distribution Modules

PDM60, AmpLink

The PDM60 will not program.

Both power and ground must be fully disconnected from the module before programming.

AmpLink will not connect via Bluetooth.

Ensure you are connecting through the AmpLink PDM app, not your device’s Bluetooth settings.

Output circuits do not turn on.

Verify the correct trigger wire is connected and enabled in the configuration settings.

A circuit immediately faults on startup.

Inspect the wiring for short circuits and confirm the connected accessory is operating correctly. Contact Rowe Electronics or your dealer if the issue persists.

A circuit does not fault when expected.

Confirm configuration settings are correct. Contact Rowe Electronics or your dealer for assistance.

AmpLink is stuck on the “Connecting” screen.

Check the unit’s serial number. Units with serial numbers below 56027415 may require an update. Contact Rowe Electronics or your dealer for service.

The AmpLink status LED does not turn on.

Power-cycle the unit by disconnecting and reconnecting power. Contact Rowe Electronics or your dealer if the issue continues.

My browser will not allow installation of the PDM60 Dashboard.

Check browser security settings to ensure downloads are not being blocked. Using a VPN may help bypass restrictive network policies.

Where can I purchase a replacement programming cable?

Contact Rowe Electronics or your authorized dealer to purchase a replacement cable.

My computer does not recognize the programming cable.

Ensure the correct drivers are installed and properly selected.

The PDM60 Dashboard cannot communicate with the device.

Verify the correct COM port is selected in the Dashboard software.

Motor Controls

RMC2500 / RMC3500, VTC

The actuator does not move.

Verify that the supply voltage and load are within rated specifications.

The RMC throttle cable feels loose.

If the metal cable can be moved in and out by hand, contact Rowe Electronics for service.

The actuator sounds like it is operating, but the cable does not move.

Ensure the throttle cable sheath is properly secured and the cable cannot be moved by hand. Contact Rowe Electronics for service.

The actuator operates in reverse.

Reverse the two actuator motor wires at either the control connection or actuator connection.

The actuator throttle cable binds.

Inspect cable routing and confirm the system load requirements are within specifications.

Can my RMC actuator be repaired?

Actuators are serviceable only by Rowe Electronics. Any attempt to disassemble the unit will void the manufacturer warranty.
